Just what they wanted!

Each Father Christmas they have visited they have both asked them for Roller Skates. True to form, Santa delivered two splendid pairs of Roller Skates for when they woke up this morning, as well as a stocking, a large bag, and a smallish box under the tree!
Luckily, when I took the top photo I kept my phone camera going so managed to catch them going, going, gone! But we know how very resilient they are, and tough. They were immediately up again and staggering around. By the end of the day they had dispensed with falling over and can't wait to get outside to practice. With the skates came elbow, knee and hand protectors which will see them through until they are more proficient.
They are good though, every fall was followed by roars of laughter and helping each other up.
Hope you had as good a Christmas as we did, only eight for dinner this year which is very unusual for us but times and relationships change.
Still managed to eat far too much though!
