Budding Black Currants

Not ready yet. The black currants are looking good although the bushes are over 10 years old. We plan buy a few new bushes and allow these to establish before removing the existing shrubs.

As a fruit they freeze well and we love black currant drop scones with maple syrup during the winter months.
