Foxglove - Digitalis

I was surprised to see this one out, the other plants are not quite there yet.

An insect or the like has kindly opened the petal to allow us to see inside. The colour and patterns are intricate and beautiful, and I don't know if you can see the hairy 'ness' inside the petal, also around the outside edge.
