King Henry VIII at Hampton Court Palace

The forecast rain and thunderstorms did not materialise so we were able to spend a very pleasant day exploring Hampton Court Palace. As well as the gardens which are looking magnificent there was much to see including preparations for the Flower Show and a sound check for tonights concert in the large courtyard.

Inside the Palace is a large exhibition in Mary IIs Apartments called Secrets of the Royal Bedchamber which highlights all the intrigues of Court life.

In an anti chamber off the main hall we came across a rather fearsome King Henry VII.

Must get to bed early tonight in preparation for the Summer Solstice 24hr. shoot in Central London together with several blippers.
