Canary Wharf Impression
Early in the evening over 200 photographers gathered at a Covent Garden hotel for the start of the London 24hr photo shoot. After a briefing by Will Cheung of Advanced Photographer magazine we all scattered to various parts of the city some intending to complete 24hrs non stop.
With a group including blippers Gavin and Cheryl Meek we first visited Covent Garden and then on to Canary Wharf as the sun was setting. To this country boy it was quite an eye opener to see the big city in full Friday night party mode.
After several hours pounding the pavements we went for a well deserved Italian meal and whilst some of the group ventured off into the night we decided a a warm bed would be the better option so as to be fresh for much more of the same tomorrow.
These are reflections in one of the docks at Canary Wharf taken as the last rays of sunshine illuminated the buildings. I inverted the original picture during processing.
