Love in the Lynchgate!

A cooing dove on the top of the lynchgate at Yealmpton church encouraged me to have a closer look. Inside were two more doves, taking as much inteest in me as I was in them! A mile down the road and just outside Plymouth is another village called Brixton. Here there were daffodils in flower on the roadside verges. After yesterday it actually felt quite Spring-like this morning! The extra shows the River Yealm near Yealmpton. The patterns on the water seemed to mimic the texture and patterns of the surface of the rock.
