The Star Inn

Back down to Salford, today, although I had to go via Stockport to finish off a bit of disappointing HR business. 

After that, I made my way back through the heavy traffic, in time to do a quick bit of guitar practice, before popping over to the Old Firestation to meet the Minx and Simon. 

The plan had been to walk up to the Star Inn for their carols and brass band evening, but the weather was so bad that we stayed where we were for a bite to eat and then took an Uber up to the Inn to meet our friends Keith and Annette.

To be honest, the weather ensured that it wasn't as good as last year but we still had a great evening: a good pub with close friends :-)
