Mount Torlesse 2
This mountain dominates our countryside. Its changing moods tell us much about the weather we can expect. When the clouds are low down to the foothills that part of the sky seems empty. Anyone who has lived here for a while, and especially those who were born here, have a deep sense of belonging, of identity with the mountain. For this reason I shall blip it quite often.
The snow has receded a lot since June1, when I blipped it last. However, there is another Antarctic storm on the way so that could change soon.
Although I can see Torlesse from my backyard there is a lot of interference to the view. To get this sort of shot I need to travel a bit.
