"Chooky"

This is Miss Hermione Cluck, known to her friends as Chooky.

Chooky is a celebrity- she has appeared on television and radio, and has had two or three books written about her. She gets recognized when she's out shopping.

Chooky's family is probably the most isolated family in New Zealand. When they go out they have to walk for three days just to get to their car. Nobody is left at home so where they go Chooky goes. She's travelled all over New Zealand.

She laid her first egg while being carried in a hat during a long tramp. Once, when she was smuggled onto a bus hidden in a cardboard box, she blew her cover by cackling after laying an egg.

Chooky's family is very special to me. When they visit me it's a happy, happy day.

Though I suspect Miss Cluck regarded me as paparazzi lowlife.
