Birthday girl

Lie in this morning then sorted the house out after Christmas day. Mum got up and opened her cards as its her 83rd birthday today. Did some jigsaw and took the dogs around the roads before getting ready to go out. Walked up to the Ivy at St Andrews square as we had booked lunch for mum birthday. Nice table but the waiter dropped a glass on the table when delivering the drinks. He was very apologetic and cleared things up quickly, luckily no one got wet. Had a great lunch and we got they took drinks off the bill for the inconvenience at the start and mum got her pubbing for free as it was her birthday, great customer service. Bit more jigsaw and then went down to the botanic’s with mum to see the lights, J came with the dogs and walked them back. Lights were nice but not as good as last year. J and mum watched a Christmas romcom while I did a bit more jigsaw.
