PART 1 AND 2.

Part 1.
#The Rev went off to work at eight and O and I went to the hospice for 11 o’clock to prepare for serving Christmas dinner to staff, guests and patients.
It was probably the hardest stint we’ve done in 10 years. About 15 extra people turned up above the 30 already planned. It is obviously a flexible situation but we were exhausted afterwards.
Part 2
#We left the hospice at 2:30 and headed up to Mums for a buffet tea. The Rev picked up Grandan on the way. J and D were already there. We had a lovely time lots of presents lots of laughter, playing games and great food.
# I got lots of warm clothes. Our heating bill will be happy!!!!
# Mum was delighted with her planned trip to see Moulin Rouge in the New Year. She has waited quite awhile for it. It took a bit of sorting, but now we have something to look forward to.
# Daisy was very content on Grandan’s lap for most of the day. Although her new snowball cave bed was a hit.
# The Just chilling crew!!!
#Daisy also got several gifts to open. She got it down to a fine art!!!

Dan was unwell when we got back so I’m glad he’s staying with us and not alone.
He was better in the morning

A busy day full of meaning…GIVING AND RECEIVING
