warm and dry

Back to Aquaerobics today. It had rained a lot overnight and the fields were full of water where the Cluden had burst its banks. There were plenty of geese and swans enjoying their own enlarged swimming pools :-)

I was looking forward to a visit from Lizzie and Frank today on their way home to Yorkshire, but they messaged to say that the roads were so badly flooded that they were driving straight back. Another time..

I did a wee bit of shopping before going home. D had made up the fire for our guests so I sat and enjoyed the warmth while doing some of my jigsaw. 

I'm heading south tomorrow so I'd better go and throw a few things into a bag...
