This hawthorn tree will be instantly recognisable to most members of my family. It stands in the fields up above our house where I went for a walk today, first to the Communion Stones (extra) where the Covenanters had a secret communion in 1678, and then up Skeoch Hill. It was so lovely to see sunshine and blue sky :-)
