A Day In The Life

Dissectologist

Or, in other words, a person who loves solving jigsaw puzzles • The jigsaw puzzle was invented by John Spilsbury, a British cartographer and engraver, in 1766 • The original was made of wood and was called a dissected map, used for educational purposes • It’s said if you are a puzzler (my term) you tend to be observant, organized and detail oriented • There are benefits to puzzling too (a much better term than dissecting): reinforces connections between brain cells, lowers stress levels (I might argue that point), improves mental speed, improves short-term memory and increases production of dopamine • We finished this one last night, and have another Christmasy one underway :) • Sadly our grocery store is still closed from last week’s flood, as is the boat landing • Thank You, Wikipedia • Peace & Love to All
