Almost Here

Dear O'H dear,

LTJ, Lil Dude and I went for a walk in The Hermitage today and Lil Dude was just in the best form. Watching a little person get so excited about touching trees and kicking leaves was the perfect break from preparing Christmas food.

Albert and The Duke arrived this evening and we had dinner and a lovely evening catching up. I love listening to Albert tell stories about his time living abroad with Penny and watching his face alight with memories.

I always have that excited fluttery feeling when I go to bed on Christmas Eve. Even more so this year as I have more of my whānau here.
