A wet Welsh Village Christmas

The village of Higher Kinnerton is In between Hope and Chester. I went for a walk in the rain this morning . There is an old chapel in every village.
Also an excellent cafe with ‘sheep’ in the garden, and an old manor. There was no one about. I was sent on an errand to the shop for two items. It reminded me of a much loved children’s book called ‘Don’t Forget the Bacon’. The child uses little phrases to remember what he has gone to buy. I remembered the Under Milk Wood but forgot the Bread of Heaven, and was laughed at on return. No Hope for me.
