Homecroft

Visited Uncle Roger and Auntie Diane in Kent for the first time in seven years ! We got the 6:30am BA flight from Edinburgh to Gatwick, hired a car and then drove over to Homecroft. We had booked a Focus but got given a Mondeo and were quite impressed with it. Seeing everyone again, it seemed almost like yesterday that we last saw them. We watched the British Grand Prix and took a stroll down the grounds, the same things we always used to do when I was younger.

Homecroft has changed quite a lot but Roger has done it very well. Particularly the old attic I used to sleep in when Grandma lived there.

It was the first time everyone had met Orla of course. She was her usual smiley self. It was her first time on a plane but it didn't bother her in the slightest.
