Just a wee bit higher.

I had to drive to Dunoon via Strachur this morning because a lorry had slipped off the Glen Lean road yesterday in the snow and it was closed for recovery. 

There were still patches of  snow left  on the Leannach and coming back on the re-opened direct road the remnants were still clear just above the tree line.   

We must have missed it - and ended up with yet more rain - by only a hundred metres or so.    Further north  of course there were people stranded in their cars for several hours on the A9.
