Not The First Time

Christmas Day and not for the first time either Mrs S or I worked the day, this year Mrs S on duty at Falmouth Hospital.
We all got up early for Christmas Stockings with a tea/coffee and a bacon sandwich. Mrs S left for for work, Sam and I went back to bed. Mid morning we harnessed Paddy and headed for Castle Beach Cafe, a hot coffee and mince pie looking out over the bay and a surprise meet up with friends.
Home to dry off and enjoy the fire and some Christmas TV. Mrs S arrived home and after changing so as to relax we had our gifts from beneath the tree. All happy, all spoilt, all content.
A cold buffet to round off one of the most relaxing Christmas Day’s I have had.
