Hairy holly
Another gloomy, very wet, windy day with a few loud claps of thunder late in the evening just for good measure. But, fingers crossed, we seem to have escaped the worst of storm Gerrit unlike Stalybridge, just across the Pennines, where a small tornado caused devastation.
No photos by late evening, so this is something of an emergency Blip. This year the green man has hair of holly, no orange rose hips as in some previous years. Unfortunately we had to leave the rose that produced the hips ('Friendship of Strangers') in the 'yard in Wooler.
