This afternoon the air conditioning stopped working. We had friends for lunch and the conversation was so interesting that it was quite a while before we realised that we were all getting very hot. On investigation we found that the air con was only fanning, not cooling. Isn't it remarkable that such things always happen on a holiday or weekend?
