Smacherie

According to Dictionaries of the Scots Language , ‘smacherie’ means ‘A large number of miscellaneous small objects, esp. in a state of disorder or confusion, a higgledy-piggledy mass’. 

That sounds like a very useful term to have in one’s vocabulary.
