Mostly Aquilegias

It has taken a lot longer than was expected, but the leisure centre in Kirkwall now has an all singing, all dancing swimming pool! This morning there was a free taster session for those who with reduced mobility and the over 50's, so S and I took ourselves along. It was a chance for the staff to make sure everything did what it was supposed to and identify any snags. The floor of the pool had been raised so the depth was a reassuring shallow 1 metre! Very clever! Everything was very impressive and it was great to see old friends and be back swimming again, as the public pool at the grammar school was closed months ago.

Ollie and I spent the whole of the afternoon in the garden. He had a bone, I was weeding, moving plants, dead heading and planting out some bedding plants. Picked a bunch of flowers for the kitchen table too!
