Antonio at 82

Antonio da Silvo Gomes, at 82 years old. See my blip of 11 years ago - first link below. He’s still working as a waiter in Bar Lagoa restaurant, where we had lunch today. He recognised us  (as did the other lovely waiter in the other link below from 4 years ago.  Both were tickled pink to look again at these previous blips. We had a late lunch from a table on the terrace with a view of Christ the Redeemer in the background. We shared a salad and then steak tartare and chips. Then, unlike us, we had ice-cream for dessert.

A good afternoon after a frustrating meeting for Bb (I was there too)  in Barra de Tijuca in Barra Square Shopping Centre at Evora Cafe.
