East Pier, Whitby

On a sunny, breezy, chilly day. 

Whitby was heaving, everyone had the same idea! We headed for the car park by the Abbey, thinking there would be plenty of room up there. It was full of campervans, but we did just manage to squeeze into a space. We bought some sandwiches and a takeaway coffee (the cafes and fish restaurants all had queues coming out of the doors), and we sat in the sun on West Cliff enjoying the view. Heaven!
