Decoration

Sometimes we keep decorations for years because they are special. Many years ago when we were not very well off, Every Christmas Mr T used to bring a new decoration for either the tree or to hang up, This is one of them, It's difficult to see properly but it is very sparkly  and I now put it in the porch with the lights reflecting off it. It's getting a bit battered but then after  over 50 years it's bound to be.

Further news, on Tuesday, we saw a light come up on the dash, on investigation it was found there was a problem with the catalytic converter, on researching, Mr T found some stuff that you put in the petrol tank then go for a long run in the car to clear it. Some was sent for which arrived last night quite late, (you have to feel sorry for Amazon drivers) It was duly administered this morning then, after walking the dog, we went for a very long run, and it seems to have worked because the light has now gone out, fingers crossed.

It was a lovely morning but really cold, there was a keen wind blowing all day, even the cat doesn't want to go out.

I made an apple pie for tea with custard but forgot to blip it.

Have to do a bit of shopping tomorrow, I've run out of potatoes, flour  and grapes, and need some Crumpets too.

I forgot to tell you, the other day Kirsty came across one of the co-op robots which was stuck half on the pavement and half off and kept saying "please put me back on the pavement" over and over, so she picked it up and put it back on and it said "Thank you" and went on it's way, she thought it was so funny said it was like some Si Fi film.

Bed now good night, have a nice weekend, soon be the end of the year.
