Wet Leg

This is the name of an all-female band from the Isle of Wight that rose to prominence with their breakthrough single, 'Chaise Longue', in 2021.  It is also a description of my left leg just after I took this photo of the Wey Navigation canal on this afternoon's walk. I  thought the tow path was terra firma right to its edge but, sadly,  it wasn't. So I squelched on with the walk - one foot and trouser leg wet, the other dry - until it became too uncomfortable and we returned to the car. The ducks carried on dabbling regardless but Emma, who was with me, found it difficult to stifle her merriment. The question is - was the photo worth the dunking I took to take it?
