Cooks House

Tetrathlon competitions in the Pony Club involve Cross-country jumping, target shooting, swimming and running. This weekend had been given over to my youngest, who had entered the 'South-North' Tetrathlon, which happened over the whole weekend.
Having done the shooting, running and swimming yesterday today was left for the riding section. A lovely course at Cooks House in 'The Shire' just south of Hexham. Helen was riding a friends beautiful coloured pony and got off to a good start. Things didn't go her way after a few jumps and she had to pull out. However, I'm glad I got one good shot of the pair of them. After the tears were wiped away a big hug helped to put things into perspective.....theres always another day.
