Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre
.. on a completely miserable day.
Cold, wet, windy, flooded fields and muddy paths.
It was pretty grim today.
The centre manages thirty acres of diverse meadows, woodland, pools and riverside walks.
On a nice day it is wonderful.
Not today however.
The tusks are replicas of a mammoth skeleton which was discovered not far away. There is a good exhibition inside and lots to do for families and organised tours.
The hill in the distance is called Norton Camp, an Iron Age
Hillfort and woodland which is great for exploring.
On a nice day.
