Rain won't stop play

I don't think I've seen rain like this in years. Apparently it's the official, wettest county, with Essex being the driest. MrK was struggling with the extremes and decided to go out anyway. He and Steve walked across the fields into Sedbergh and had a well deserved pint in the Dalesman...MrK liked the cost of the beer!
Lizzie and I made Leftover pie and spiced vegetables, while chatting and singing to Lauren Daigle in the kitchen. Nanny took some curtains up, FK had some screen time, reading and generally chilling, while Lauren pottered around everyone, before going to Sedbergh to pick up the menfolk.
Leftover pie went down a treat and I finally won a game of rummikub! BTW more jigsaw action and late cheese...really shouldn't, but mealtimes have just become whenever!
