Goodbye November India

A couple of showers first thing, but mostly a dry day, bright at times.  Breezy at times.

Up at 5am again, and another early shift in the airport.  A busy start with five helicopters to check-in, and then our schedule flights.  A couple of delays, snow in Glasgow was one.  Working in the shop this evening, and last shift of the year.  Then a quiet night by the fire.

Glasgow flight finally made it out, after de-icing and clearing snow from the runway, landed here an hour late.  After boarding the passengers, I was in yo get my final figures to the captain, always a good chat with Eddie, he's originally from Shetland.  They both were telling me this was the last time this Saab 340 was coming here, as they are getting rid of them from the fleet.  They are trusty peerie planes, and travel through anything, sure will be a miss.  David Brown (L) and Eddie Watt (R) in the cockpit, GLGNI.  Cheerio peerie November India, we'll miss you.  Taken at Sumburgh Airport.
