A long, long time ago . . .

It's 13 years since we last visited Cristo Redentor in Rio. We pre-booked the day and were rewarded with dense cloud atop!  Still, hugely impressive, fun and atmospheric.

We came up by train and spent half an hour on the summit in swirly but still warm mist.   The crowd, see the extra, cheered when the statue's face came into view!
