Postcard

We ran around between raindrops to gape at the magnificent ocean. I’ve never seen so many people out walking in the rain, hoping to get sprayed by the waves. The crowds at the lighthouse cheered whenever the water shot up overhead. What a show!
I noticed that some of the Boardwalk rides were open, but the nearby wharf was closed because of infrastructure damage. Other low lying areas were shoveling out the sand that got moved around so dramatically yesterday. The sun came blasting out in the afternoon, giving us a break for the moment.
