Ever hopeful

A very muddy walk in Dalkeith brightened us all up after pour indulgences yesterday. Miss PHL’s flatmate joined us in the afternoon for our planned games night.

We had a fun afternoon and evening playing a variety of games including Chameleon, a very very long session of Cludeo and a couple of rounds of a card version of The Chase. Along the way we enjoyed an espresso martini courtesy of Alex (Miss PHL’s flatmate) and some rather too easy to drink Prosecco.

A variety of party food made an easy tea before we watched Die Hard. Not sure I’ve ever seen it all the way through and really enjoyed Alan Rickman’s performance as the baddie.

All bar the two girls retired to bed by 11.
