Blowing away the cobwebs

It was rather lovely to have a bit of a lie in this morning after our late night. The visitors decided to head into Stockbridge so Carlota could check out the charity shops. Mr PHL and 1 planned to join them about 2ish along with Miss PHL but the best made plans and all that meant we kept missing each other. Carlota managed to pick up some boots, a top and a gift for a friend so she had a successful trip.

The three of us enjoyed a late lunch in a pizza place and we left the others to go and collect their wristbands for the Torchlit procession taking place in the evening. We saw them at home for an hour or two before they headed back into town where they found out the procession was cancelled due to the windy conditions.

We’d found a lovely cheese shop in the afternoon which had the most delicious looking sourdough baguettes so our dinner was bread and cheese with the last of the Christmas ham. The others had taken a drive to South Queensferry and ate fish and chips there.
