Teasel creature

Several years ago I found this ornament at a craft fair. I loved the stuff the woman made all with found plant bits. I was going to send the teasel creature to someone but I decided to keep it for myself. Those are acorn cap eyes and seed pod ears and feet. I'm not sure what the nose is made from. Next weekend I will put all the decorations away but leave the lights on the tree for a while.
We were supposed to get some sun today but it stayed gloomy all day. I tried to get a close up of some moss but it was too dark outside for good photos. There was a bit of color this morning at sunrise but that was it for the day.
I hope we have some color for the first sunrise of the new year. We shall see.
