Muirfield - stuck in the sand at 12

Two weeks before the greatest championship on earth begins here. Everything gleaming and all the roads in east Lothian been retracked. There are fake hawks on all the grandstands (eh?).

Had special two and half hour round finishing in gloaming at 10 pm waving to the grandstand ghosts. Brilliant. John got stuck against the newly cut faces on 12 - 4 or was it 5 before he went out backwards. Greens quite slow and rough gentle so pray for rain to toughen it up before Rory takes it!
