curiosity satisfied

the drive to Morrisons means I pass two footpath/cycle track signs a couple of hundred yards apart

The 1885 map shows a path over the Willenhall Colliery and this appears to be a remnant left because shafts would render the area unsafe for building

so literally it's a Path to Nowhere
