Waiting for Friends to Call

HNY everyone.

These knitted residents are waiting for their friends to call them back in the phone box.

The box on the right (see extra) still functions, but the one on the left was adopted by the Parish Council in 2015 (read here); it's empty but can't even be used as a library because of the padlock and chain keeping the door closed. Rumours that it was to be the control room of HS2 are yet to receive official comment.
