All lit up

This morning we visited Greys Court, a Tudor country house at Rotherfield Greys. It had some 16th century Swiss stained glass panels that I wanted to see. When we arrived we discovered that all the main rooms had been decorated for Christmas, each room having a different theme or time period. The effect was really enchanting, so much so that I forgot all about the stained glass panels. I was particularly taken by the old nursery with its moons and stars. I will have to visit again to look at the stained glass.
