Sliding into 2024

A lovely way to slippery slide into 2024, with the runningmonk trail 5k in Bishop’s Castle. The pre-race briefing was pretty much: ‘it’s muddy out there, you’re almost certainly going to be knee deep in water on more than one occasion, be careful, enjoy yourself’.

It was an epic run on the most perfect morning. Squelching through mud for most of it, occasional cleaned trainers post-stream, a big climb, epic views and brilliant company.

A magnificent pub lunch and a pint to follow. A glorious way to start 2024!
