End of the year

We actually managed a short walk up to Castlerigg Stone Circle in the dry on New Years Eve - before Andy arrived at lunchtime. The rain soon moved in for the afternoon - everywhere is a quagmire.

In the evening we saw in the new year at the Lodore Hotel in Borrowdale, where we had a superb 7 course meal in their Japanese restaurant before dancing our way into 2024 with an excellent band.
