It’s a kingfisher

… but I missed it!
It was a perfect day for the New Year Plant Hunt organised by the Botanical Society. Thanks to mollyblobs heads up I found the nearest group and headed up to Dumfries. We managed 26 species and the exciting find of the day was Keel-fruited Cornsalad.
Afterwards I had a late swim at Rockcliff (extra).
