Mini Vivid on Mid Winter's Night

Newcastle has a mini Vivid on tonight. There are about half a dozen buildings with laser projections on them and lots of stalls for artists and hot food, some buskers, the marching koalas and a few light installations. Along the old Newcastle Hospital site is this wall where people were completing some artwork. There were some quite young children too by the looks of things. Even Ironman was there having his photo taken.

Hooray it is the Winter Solstice and longer days are on the way. It's also Friday again. Tomorrow is Assessment day for our Delta volunteers and their dogs. We have 76 and it is going to be a long day. Hannah and Hamish both need to be reassessed tomorrow and I am doing the ID photos.

Oh and Sydney folk, it is not a patch on the real deal but the crowds are better. I wouldn't be hot footing it up the F3 for this.
