Limbo Days

Those days between Christmas and New Year that sort of drift by without much happening. I had been looking forward to an ‘Epic Midweekers’ row but the weather once again put paid to that.
Instead I tidied away some stuff, not much though, as we make a little more room for the chocolates, cakes, biscuits and sweets to go out onto tables in order that we can try and reduce the amount carried over into the new year.

Todays phot is of our “Snow Babies”, around 20+ years ago, Sam was in her pushchair, I started buying one each Christmas to decorate the mantelpiece. They then became harder to come by and we stopped buying. Imagine the surprise on Mrs S’s face when she unwrapped one this year from Sam & Josh. “Dog Days Of Winter” is a youngster walking a dog, a great addition that will be treasured.
