Diglis Hotel

It rained today, it rained all day more or less.  The river is still rising but although the house opposite us seems to be pumping water from their cellar we are OK (luckily because we don't have a cellar!

GoodRoots is closed this week, until Friday, so we decided to brave the weather and walk over to the nearby Diglis Hotel.  The lower gardens and entrance from the riverside walk were well under water, luckily the hotel was built higher up so remained dry.

The hotel had a well stocked bar so I had a low alcohol beer and Ann had a coffee (see extras).

Through the window we saw the sunset just after 4pm and I went out to take a pic or two.
