flipped it !

I began this painting a couple of days ago...so i have just spent a few hours in the painting zone.....this is what it looked like .   One of the great things about abstract art is that you can turn the thing upside down, sideways or whatever and see what you've got ... so cool!   When i flipped it what i saw interested me far more than the original composition...it felt too close to a 'landscape' for me.   Now, after spending some time with it what i saw was a bowl or vessel and it being nestled in the midst of a bright light of energy!   So i'm leaving it here right now and will see what's happening with it in the coming days.

Off up to Sydney - woo hoo.....a walk around Delam Lake, shopping and dinner out!
