First Sophie Blip Of The Year

As we’d anticipated, the golf course was closed today after all the heavy rain which continued until lunchtime so Tess and I had a quiet morning x so quiet that I resorted to tidying the cupboard under the bathroom sink! Desperate measures!

Sophie went back to school today so we’ve enjoyed our regular after school routine with her, including a couple of games of Bananagrams. The blip shows her enjoying having used up all her letters.

Those of you who know the game will understand why I didn’t dare post the photo I took of her playing a game of Fill Your Pants*. Didn’t want Social Services coming round!

*For the uninitiated, two teams have to try to be the first to fill oversized pairs of pants from a list of categories (“something yellow”, “something beginning with D”) provided. It involves much dashing around the house searching for suitable items while trying to keep previous booty in said pants!
