Nice Weather For Ducks

After we’d dropped Sophie at school we spent the rest of the morning taking down the Christmas decorations and chopping up the tree to dry off for next year’s kindling.

The ducks had space to escape the rain and return to their normal huddle in the living room but not before they’d had a bit of a warm up in front of the fire.

This afternoon we had a trip to the recycling centre with the wrapping paper, and cardboard boxes that had accumulated over the festivities.

Just got back from watching the film Wonka at the local theatre. Sophie recommended it having seen it before Christmas. It’s certainly spectacular fun.
