Cold and Icy

Very cold today. With all the rain the pavements are quite icy and slippery in places. Walking is not a happy experience.

I was invited for lunch today. I had decided to stay overnight in a hotel not far from the house where I was lunching. In the evening I was not looking forward to the walk back to the hotel, but luckily I had a lift back by car.

My car, which had been parked at the hotel all day, was quite frozen up when I got back. To my relief the locks had not frozen so I was able to get my case from the boot.

After check in I retired to my room and put the heating up!
